Sounds like Finley is defending LeBron. Now I'm glad this game isn't on TV.

Is anyone else hoping Bonner kind of stinks it up and Tolliver keeps hitting this game?

It is nice to see Mason make a couple of shots in a row, but I really am surprised he has not handled the ball very much in this preseason. I thought he would average 3-4 assists per game.

Yeah, it's interesting that Hairston now has five blocks in the last two games. Not bad for a relatively short wing player.

Hairston is an outstanding athlete. For a sg/sf I think he is leading the team in blocks this preseason

Mason averaged 1.7 assists last year playing most point guard. It'd be unrealistic to think he'd average 3-4 assist in San Antonio playing shooting guard.

I think we should keep Hairston. TOlliver hasn't impressed enough to prove to me that he is a substantial upgrade over Bonner, so I'm not at all convinced we should make that swap. After Hairston, I am torn between Watkins and Farmer. One is a pretty good defensive presence that Timmy hasn't had the luxury of playing next to the past few seasons, while Farmer can certainly score. Of course, Farmer is small and Watkins is limited offensively. I guess the one we keep should come down to how easy it would be to get another player that provides a similar skillset as either one of these two.

Hairston is 6'5'' or 6'6'', but he has a big frame and a tremendous vert

He's a guy I want to see a year from now. Quietly very impressive.

Kudos to the front office. I ed and ed. But they did a good job in the draft.

When he was playing "starters" minutes he was averaging 4 assist. I am surprised that Pop has not put the ball in his hands to kind of see how he does. I know he has not played a ton of minutes this preseason, but I though he might be a ball handler when he did get time.

You know, he doesn't force his offense either. That made him look bad in summer league, but it makes him look smart when he's on the floor with Duncan and Parker.
