Well, I'm just puzzled by his assertion. If the point of all the complaining about the fact that most, if not all, college campuses are indoctrinating students into liberal ideology but most "properly educated people" hold conservative values, then what the has all of the ing about college campuses been about?!!?
Wait, let me try -
The conservative students are wise enough and have enough for ude to get out after fours years of attempts to indoctrinate them with anti-American values. The only ones who continue attending these socialist boot camps after four years are the weak-willed pansies who eventually become liberals.

OK, I'll explain. I do think this is a stupid thread.
First off, isn't the question a generlized one rather than students? Once you get a broad mix of ages, experience, and education, those who are better paid blue collar workers and white collar workers tend to be moe conservative. People who have little education to secure a good job with, tend to look for government handout. The Elite... Just that.

Again, though, if your point is that people who are out of college become more conservative on the whole, then why is there any need to complain about the liberality of college campuses? After all, you're saying that the natural course of things (it seems) tends to make conservatives out of even those who've been ruthlessly indoctrinated on campus -- well, all of those other than the elites. Right?
And only in the Blue/Red America could there actually be a faction of people who truly believe that attaining high levels of education (and in some cases, even high levels of knowledge) is something that should, by and large, not be emulated or even generally seen as a good thing.

That's what I would assume, given the context of his response, but that is the exact opposite of even the most politically twisted/perverted definition of "elite" that I've heard.
