Nash objects!
I love Jose as a person but he may be the worst defensive starting PG in the NBA.
Nash objects!
Can you believe these FG%:
Pierce 3-6
Garnett 7-10
Perkins 6-8
Allen 8-12
Rondo 6-11
The Celtics starting line-up shot 64% and the whole team shot 62%, plus they were 59% from the 3-point line.
Would have even worse but the Celtics were 18-30 from the FT line with the Raptors going 34-37 from the charity stripe.
No, Jose is worse defensively than Nash.
Ukic has impressed me so far
I agree; O'Neal has been tremendous with his block shots
That's just crazy. I'm serious, I've been high on the Raptors this year but this game was just WOW. I was thinking what the is this?
Hahah, I saw his very bad defense in another game but I thought he was just having a bad game. His defense makes Nash look like DPOY.
LMAO Raptors.
Way to blow a big lead
A loss to Golden State and the Raptors sit at 12-19.![]()
Really, you cannot expect any good things from a team which lost to OKC. Besides that, their bench and swingmen positions are terrible.
So is TJ
No kidding...
Guess I should add this here:
Toronto may be interested in trading for Joe Smith because Jermaine O’Neal could be on the trading block. The Oregonian is reporting today that Toronto may be ready to give up on the O’Neal/Bosh front line experiment. When asked about the possibility of a trade, O’Neal said to reporters, “I don’t worry about that stuff.” What team would possibly look at bringing the veteran whose skills seem to be on the decline? Quite a few according to insiders, even though some will be scared off by O’Neals bloated $44 Million dollars owed over this season and next. It’s amazing to think at one time(Summer 2007), two of the three best teams in the league(Cavs and Lakers) were willing to give up draft picks and multiple players to Indiana for O’Neal. Now, the Raptors will be lucky to get a first round pick or an expiring contract of an equally overpaid player.

watch them spank the Nuggets
Nuggets beat them by 39 in Denver!! I think this will be an upset and the first game that the Nuggets have lost to a crappy team since the first week of the season
Calderon is back and they win 3 straight games.
Joseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeee
Very dissapointing season....I knew JO was a fail from the start, he has no knees left
Raptors were really dumb for firing Mitc .
They panicked; Jay Triano sucks.
Why the Raps sucked so bad:
- Getting JO (not picking on him, he is a heck of a player, but he is injury prone)
- Calderon's injury; put it this way; when he is playing, Raps are much better
- Firing Mitc : apprently, Colangelo made him pay the price for giving more minutes to Bargnani, which sucks; however, Bargnani had a very good 2008-2009 (sorry Timvp, but it's true)
- Thinking Kapono is a defensive specialist
- Blowing leads: Raps play well for the first 2.5 quarters, have the lead against excellent teams, but they can not keep the damn lead
- DE-FENSE: sounds familiar? Raptors had none
- Chris Bosh: I love him to death; he plays to win, but he has been so frustrated with the losses this season that he has started carrying a negative at ude; but I understand him, and he is still young; when they won in Orlando a few weeks ago, he was so happy, he looked like he won the NBA le;he just wants to win games.
I hope Raptors have already had their confidence totally destoryed by the fail of this season, and start to rebuild their team in this summer. as Chris Bosh will leave that team anyway, it'll be a better option for the Raptors to trade him for some talents and picks this summer than to let him walk one season later with nothing back. If I were Raptors GM I would trade Bosh to Dallas for Josh and fillers.![]()
Yeah, that's what Raptors need: more headlines
One of the Raptors biggest strengths in the past was their bench...Kapono, Delfino, Garbajosa, Calderon/Ford....this year it was Kapono, Grahamn, Ukic, Pops, Banks![]()
Garbajosa was a starter.
But yeah, they miss him big time; he was their most versatile player and a quite leader.
