That in itself is a racist statement. You attributed a negative trait to a group of people solely based on their race.

I think the most interesting aspect of the conversation is when people believe that because it is a "positive" comment then it is not racist.

The other issue is if statistically true inclinations are racist statements. The way I look at it- it is not racist to say that x % of group y is whatever it may be that is true. It becomes racist to assume that any member of that group is therefore that way.

Such a society would never exist. Laws are in place to protect people. It is assumed one has at least minimal care of another because they expect the same.

It doesn't hurt someone's feelings to assume something bad about them based upon the color of their skin? Isn't that the essence of racism? Just because no slurs are used does not make it not racist? Your notion that you are not being racist is actually more dangerous than those who admit they are being racist.
