I came from the Jack Bauer Academy. Don't count me out.
To the game...
I'm really starting to feel this one. the complaining to refs won't be as bad as it's on the road.
It may sound like I'm bagging on your team but it's because I am.

My neighbors might disagree with that. I do my fair share of yelling at the TV.![]()
So is Mahinmi the starting center?
No choice if it doesn't happen we will go for another bunch of trade parker threads. Come on TP do your stuff !
wow Dallas is killing the suns 49 / 28 with 5 to go in the second
It's not a matter of losing. The loss to the Pistons was a little humiliating. I had to work really hard not to rant and rave around here, and would probably have just stayed away if I didn't think I could control myself.
i will be watching
Gameday: Spurs vs. Nuggets
The Spurs are trying to avoid extending their losing streak to three games when they take on the Nuggets tonight in Denver.
It was just last week the Spurs were in the midst of a four-game win streak - a stretch when they scored at least 94 points in every game and broke 100 two out of four nights.
In the Spurs' last two losses they scored 84 points against the Rockets and 77 against the Pistons. The Spurs had a combined 30 turnovers in those two games, compared to 20 for the Rockets and Pistons combined. Both opponents also shot well against the Spurs - 48.1 percent for the Rockets and 50.0 percent for the Pistons.
The Nuggets have won nine of their last 11 games, including a 91-81 victory over the Spurs on Nov. 19 at the AT&T Center. New Nuggets point guard Chauncey Billups had 22 points and six assists. Neither Tony Parker nor Manu Ginobili was active for that game.
Billups is averaging 18.9 points and 7.2 assists in 15 games with the Nuggets. They have won their last three and are coming off a 132-93 thrashing of the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday in Denver.
Here's the latest on the Nuggets:
Chris Dempsey, Denver Post
Of all the people impressed with the Nuggets' play of late, Doug Moe, the franchise's all-time winningest coach, may have the widest smile.

Benjamin Hochman, Denver Post
As the happy fans headed toward home, the sappy forward headed toward the hometown hero, and, in a scene stolen from a cheesy script, Kenyon Martin told Chauncey Billups on the Pepsi Center court, "I appreciate you being here."

This is how Nene likes it. While the Nuggets' monthlong hot streak has been credited almost solely to the arrival of Chauncey Billups and the improved all-around game of Carmelo Anthony, the Nuggets center quietly is becoming the player they always said he could be.

Paul Willis, Rocky Mountain News
When Chauncey Billups arrived in Denver for his introductory news conference last month, he said he "hadn't dunked in 10 years." Billups admitted after practice Wednesday he "was just playing" with the media back then, and then he explained why he seldom throws it down.

oh man. I was scared there for a second. I forgot it was a late game. Go spurs!
Looking forward to watching the game. Logic tells me the Nuggets should win, but who knows? Can Hill find a way to contribute in a more limited role?
I also want to see Billups play. He has always been one of my favorite non-Spurs. I like the way he plays the game.
I just beat the Nuggets 70-36 on 5-min quarters on 2k7. Hopefully the game tonight goes accordingly.
good luck tonight![]()
I'm glad nuggets-fan didn't make this blog. His luck is
