Steve Kerr, king of the panic trades that makes no sense. Your turn, Dallas.
really? Even if they trade diaw for a big of chips, it would still be a good trade.

Another thing I've noticed is J-Rich that KILLED the Mavs was J-Rich of almost 2 yrs ago, I've seen some Bobcats games and hes not as great/money/clutch as he was in that series anymore.
He was putting good numbers last year, but in Charlotte it's hard to do much more. I think Richardson is still pretty much the same player, and I will be scared next time he lines up against the Mavs.

It's not trading Diaw that I think was the wrong decision. He's useless against almost everyone. It's the inclusion of Bell that confuses me.

Phoenix wasn't going to win with what they had, so why not?
    Exactly.

This trade just killed the Phoenix Suns.

Their perimiter defense was already shakey to begin with.

Now you trade your best one, for a one dimensional ball hog shooting guard.

Getting back Jared Dudley was solid, but come on.
IMO, this trade just killed the Suns chances of contending, and they just became easier for the Spurs to match up against.
They needed someone who can create their own shot on the perimeter. Dudley helps that bench out, that's a good role for him on a good team. He also helps with defensive issues. See quote below as well.

Suns just got GOOD SG..what they've always lacked.

Phoenix will be better off now
    Fixed

It's hard to be clutch on a team, the roster was and is not very good. He still has his athleticism and shooting ability. It's hard to say this is a bad trade especially seeing as how Diaw isn't doing well in Porter's system.

So what are the suns gonna do in the frontcourt when Shaq sits out b2b....they need to resign Bo Outlaw and Paul Shirely, that way they can revamp their bench to resemble the 05 team

diaw was supposed to a player that can outmatch players at any position due to his athleticism and length. instead, he's just kind of useless at every position. ejecting diaw for richardson is good since richardson is still young. bell was a good role player so the suns still gave up something of value.

WHAT ARE THE BOBCAT'S THINKING....Believe it or not i have been going to see them play when they first got Richardson. But i guess not anymore. It just doesn't make any sense. they traded our top scorer for two guys, who combine can't even score as good as him. Will i guess we will make history on this one. "BREAKING NEWS:CHARLOTTE BOBCATS MAKE HISTORY. SCORES LESS THAN 40 POINTS IN A GAME."

Bell was their only perimeter defender. They're pretty think there now.

It's either a complete wash or a very slight upgrade for the Suns. they'll still be 7th, 8th, or 9th in the west in my opinion.

Not sure what to make of this. I hate seeing Bell go, he has at ude, but I guess Barnes makes up for it... Diaw had so much potential, but just played soft. However I bet diaw with pop reaming him would have been a good player on the spurs.

I just learned of this now. Wow I know JRich is no Bruce Bowen and losing Raja will hurt but the other team has to guard JRich as well. At the very least he is an upgrade over Bell at the 2 guard and will alleviate alot of pressure of Nash. He is going to get alot of open looks when teams double team Shaq and Amare. But we will soon see how it looks.

By the way I can't believe that MJ agreed to trade his leading scorer for Bell and Diaw.

Hmmm. Suns got better deal but they had to give up Bell and Diaw, they are pretty good. The Suns really have no bench now.

Suns need to reunite with Pringles. Bring Marion back too.

I want to see some high flying offense with absolutely no defense and a short 8 man rotation.

Hey I tell you what if Pringles were still here he would kill with this starting 5.

Didn't know nash and bell were such good friends. This game is probably going to be ugly tonight. You know it's bad when Walton makes a good play.

Yeah I figure this game is a throwaway game. They won't be able to keep pace with Lakers missing 3 players. Hopefully I am wrong

The Bobcats are a terrible organization. They traded their top 10 pick in the 2007 draft to GS for J-Rich, only to trade him for Bell and Diaw. That is just awful management

Yeah, they've been close since they played in Dallas together.

If the Lakers don't win by more than 20, they should be embarrassed of themselves.
