As an avowed Clark Hater (Clark Sucks!) during my high school days (Clark Sucks!), I'm glad to see them make it this far and hope that they'll get to the Finals. I don't think they will, but I actually hope they do.As a former Northsider (Taft c/o 87) I hope Clark wins. Taft has been in the ter the last couple of years. I remember vividly sitting in the cold ass rain in December 01 at Alamo Staduim when Taft got screwed and lost the State le by a point.
Not that I am still bitter or anything.
What amazes me, though, is that this is Clark's first time to State. For so many years, they were the big bad bully of the Northside, but never could get themselves out of the region. I was surprised to learn that Clark is the 4th of the 5 old Northside schools to win a regional le in football, with Holmes having done it 3 times, Marshall having done it 2 times, and Taft having done it 1 time. If you had told me in 1988 that come 2008, Marshall and Taft would have more appearances in state semifinals than Clark, I'd have thought you were on crack.

As a man who believes Jerry Jones is the sole reason SA will never get a football team (because just about every idiot hear cheers for them), I love it when the Cowgirls choke even with all that talent. Karma is alive and well!
