Cavs on fire in that half. Wally and Z were huge, if they hit like that the Cavs are tough to beat.

I hope LAL can put up a fight in the 2nd half and bring this closer, but I don't think they have enough in the tank for a victory. You know Lebron wants this win badly after losing to Kobe in the previous game by 17 pts.

And it should come as no surprise that Spur fan is in here talking about what another team is doing to the Lakers.......

    THAT THEIR TEAM CANNOT DO.

Is that supposed to make me cry?

How many times has he beaten us in the post season w/o Shaq? Once?

Nice. I guess all the other years he just couldn't get out of PHX. That's to bad ya know.

    4-1 this decade.

The Spurs will not beat a healthy Laker squad, we saw what happened in the last game. The Spurs got blown out so hard Pop didn't even bother playing his Big 3 in the 4th. The only chance they have is if Bynum is down for the count for the season and everyone outside of SA knows it.

It's all about matchups. The Lakers have 3 7ft bigman that the Spurs cannot handle with their frontline. Bonner, Thomas....these guys are too small to guard Bynum or Gasol on the block. Timmy can only take one at a time, and if he has to expend serious energy on both ends he isn't nearly as effective a player. Your own coach said it himself, the margin of error for SAS against the Lakers is incredibly small. One or two screwups defensively and the game is over.

Funny how this bag says how the "Spurs fans" go to another thread when as a mater of fact DrHouse is the first in line to come into a Spurs related topic to talk his bull that no one gives a about.

Dr.House should fallow his own advise.

Also i reckon this is a Spurs board so we can get into whatever the topic we want.

Spurs can't beat the Lakers when it matters.

Phil has owned Pop decisively to the tune of 4-1.

They do this all the time, especially when they try to bring up the rings argument. They try and pretend the NBA only existed since 1999.

So that Kobe can Miss 3 of every 4 shots?

    http://82games.com/gamewinningshots.htm
This stat is just like Amare's stats...lots of shots, not much difference.

"Obviously though this definition means a shot may not actually be a game winner -- it may only tie a game (if down two points) or it may allow enough time for the opponents to get a game winning shot of their own. "

    http://www.nba.com/2008/tipoff/10/21...isc/index.html
Which player in the NBA would you want taking a shot with the game on the line?
    1. Kobe Bryant -- 88.9%
Others receiving votes: Gilbert Arenas, LeBron James, Paul Pierce

yup, might get ugly...oh well, if you'd have told me LA was gonna go 5-1 on this road trip I would've taken it. Props to the Cavs though, they are solid and a completely different team at home

Oh yeah i'm crying. The Laker Junkies, the Wagon riders and anything else synonymus with lame are all jumping me. I'm so sad.

Yes the Lakers have one post season victory without Shaq, but at least the Spurs can sustain consistency.

Also, you won't catch the Spurs crying after a loss in the playoff. Like, literal tears. I can understand why the fans are like they are, the players aren't exactly setting the best examples.
