The Mavs are such a difficult team to understand I just dont get it. Even Sean has pointed it out, one night they lose by 20, the next night they win by 20. We'll see what the Mavs are really made of in the next 7 days as they play the Hornets, Suns, and Blazers. The Spurs will be fine, I mean cmon no Manu, and they can still keep up with the Mavs in their own gym?
The Mavs are just one of those teams that has the Spur's number whenever I watch them play.
Spurs better hope they don't draw the Mavs in the 1st round. That's gonna be a knockdown dragout fight.
I saw Dallas lose to SA by a huge margin in SA last week when MG was out and Duncan was a last minute scratch.
I think adding Gooden and Ginobili to the equation makes the Spurs a strong favorite over Dallas.
The Mavericks are too inconsistent in a seven game series scenario. The Mavericks are not nearly as good as they were three years ago.
You've got to be ing kidding me. No way the Mavs make it higher than the 8 seed, if at all. When it's all said and done, the #2 thru 7 spots will go to the Spurs, Nuggets, Hornets, Blazers, Rockets, and Jazz. The #8 spot will be decided between the Mavs and Suns.
You're assuming the Spurs won't go on a losing skid. That could easily happen with Manu out.
The Spurs never go on long losing streaks. That and, I dont know if youve noticed but...the 3 thru 9 teams are going to be playing each other alot in the next couple days and weeks, so each of those teams is going to be racking up some L's as well.
