I think this situation is less black and white than you are trying to make it out to be.
Do you call this girl your 'ex' or is she just some girl you talked to for a while?
Would you be jealous if your friend ended up with her and you didn't?
Did she do anything to hurt you, or do you have reason to believe she would do something to hurt your friend?
Were you guys even serious in the first place?
I can understand friends being off limits from your ex-girlfriends IF they have a reason to be....i.e you are either still attached, or they did something to break your trust. But you cant expect a guy to look past every girl you've ever considered or given the time of day.

Well Dex I see your points and yeah they are good points. This girl and I had a history in high school and then about a year ago found each other. She found me on myspace ( ing myspace I) and then we started seeing each other. It was a long distance thing which was our first problem, but she was always a good girl so I wasnt pushing anything on her. We were supposed to spend new years together and she bailed on me so I stopped talking to her. I wasnt hurt or anything, I just wrote her off since it was only about 3 months into it. I wouldnt call her an ex but my buddy knew all about everything. He knew about us in high school, he knew about me and her re-connecting, he knew about when I stopped talking to her when she bailed on me new years. He was even with me on new years. Thing is had he told me before he tapped it that he was going to I would have said do it. I just thinks its kind of shady that he did it, then asked me if it was ok and pending my answer he was either going to tell me or hide it.
It was a crush in high school lol not anymore and not even when we started seeing each other again. Im passed that crush crap.
