Y'all are insane.
IMHO in all objectivity we have 3 PGs at the top: cp3 dw tp then the rest.
CP3 is the best of the 3 : the only one seriously within a discussion for mvp. Between dw and tp my homer heart says tp this season, he has demonstrated he can carry a team alone against good compe ion. He also deserves respect for his mvp finals and his three rings and he has a hot wife which is also important.
Y'all are insane.
I agree with some of what you have to say, but to say TP isn't even close to Dwill/cp3's level is what's insane.
1. Deron Williams
2. Chris Paul
3. Tony Parker
4. Rajon Rondo
5. Chauncy Billups
6. Devin Harris
7. Jameer Nelson
8. Jason Kidd
9. Steve Nash
10. Andre Miller
which point guard brakes the most ankles?
Tony Parker better than DWill and CP3? Please. Next you'll be telling me Tim Duncan's not a center.
Chris Paul>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Deron Williams>>>Tony Parker
more like CP3>d-will>parker>>>>>>>>>>>others(too old (nash, kidd) or not developped enough(rondo, harris, nelson, rose)
1.Chris Paul
2.Tony Parker
3.Deron Williams
The Nuggets have slipped lately but there is no way Tony Parker is better than Chauncey. Chauncey murders Tony Parker. If Tony Parker was in Denver instead of Chauncey they would be missing the playoffs, not the Suns. Do you realize how good the Spurs would be if they had Chauncey instead of Parker? Parker can get inside very well, but that is all he has on Chauncey. Chauncey is superior defensively, shooting (3 point, midrange, and FT), assists, TO's, leadership, and strength.
maybe 3 years ago.
there is no way in i take chauncey over tp right now.
tp is the best slashing pg in the league and that's way more important than anything else that chauncey would add to the spurs.
also, to say tp is not in dwill or cp3's league is just stupid.
I would take TP over Chauncey 10/10 times right now and from about 2007 playoffs on.
I would take TP as well but only because of the age factor. Chauncey has a different game but he is just as effective.
It's definitely not the first time that other people have a different opinion. No problem with that. But I don't think you will find many people that think DWill is only #3 behind CP3 and Parker. Parker is within the Top 3, I agree, but I think CP3 and DWill are still better.
your sig makes no sense, 1900 the lakers beat the blazers????
You don't really need a player like Chauncey Billups on the Spurs. When your team is already stacked with leadership (Pop, Duncan, Bowen), another leader won't make much of a difference. Parker is perfect for the Spurs because he provides something that the Spurs don't have much of outside of him: Youth, speed, an unguardable scoring machine.
Besides, Parker is as clutch, if not more clutch, than Chauncey is these days. This is coming from a Suns fan, though.
Put CP3 on the Spurs and they win the le every season.
prove it.
Well, let me get my NBA 2K6, trade CP3 to the Spurs for Parker and simulate each season up to this point and see how many les the Spurs win.
yeah right chauncey>tp
TP 33,7 min 21 PPG FG% 49 6,7 APG 2,9 RPG and 2,5 TO

Huh? WTF?
What the is in the water up in Denver? It used to be sparkling clear mountain spring water. Apparently people have been pissin' in the creek lately!
By the way if you compare TP and DW stats nothing shoking saying tp>dw
TP 33,7 min 21 PPG FG% 49 6,7 APG 2,9 RPG and 2,5 TO

TP 48 min 30 PPG FG% 49 9,5 APG 4,1 RPG and 3,6 TO ratio assist to 5,6

DW 48 min 24,7 PPG FG% 47 14 APG 3,7 RPG and 4,5 TO ratio assist to 9,5
