This was a pretty big statement from the Lakers.
They were on a back to back, without their starting center, and came into San Antonio and won for the 2nd time in the last 3 visits, and it easily could've been 3 for 3. Whereas SA in this same span hasn't won a game at Staples, hasn't won a game at Staples in it's last 6 tries in fact.
They dominated the paint whereas the Spurs resorted to three point shots, shot them at a flukish clip, and the Spurs still lost. Duncan looked very human, just as he did in the playoffs last year.
Their bench made a bunch of big shots.
Finley had the game of his LIFE and the Spurs still lost.
Not saying the Spurs don't have a shot, but the Lakers have now won 7 of the last 9 meetings and clearly their A game is superior to the Spurs A game.
