I'm like Lebron James.. but before he developed a midrange jumper... so basically all I can do is layups .. but with no regard for human life!

I'm like George Hill except my offense isnt as good. I'm a pg defender. Im quick. I take pride in my defense more than anything else in basketball. I wish I had the same wingspan as Hill though.

5'11 and "1/2'' played one year of high school ball 30 + years ago and built like a bull, old, slow, no legs left but good enough to beat one on one some younger coaches in my kids basketball league (5th grade level) and some hotshot teenagers in the neighborhood.

"One never loses the street smarts" and I rarely if ever lose a game of horse!

Specialty the end of period shot = can still make at least 2-5 from half court everytime (on a day without a lot of wind or indoors), have a strong arm (was a quarterback also) and will put money on it!

We should have an annual Spurstalk charity game and I would travel for that!

I'm about 5'11 almost 6'0 , 180 lbs...so usually when I play anywhere, whether it be 3 on 3, 4 on 4, or 5 on 5 I am usually the PG, once in awhile some 2-guard. I consider myself to be pretty quick, and I like to lull people to sleep when they are guarding me and then I kick up the speed really quick and blow past the defender. I am good at finishing around the rim, and I like to think I have some pretty good court vision as well. I usually look to get my teamates involved 1st before I try and take over anything. Even though I am undersized when I play against 6'4 and 6'5 guys I still go after the ball and crash the boards pretty good for my size. I've had a pretty good amount of cool "put-backs," of course for layups not dunks, but still pretty good considering I go in and climb amongst the trees.

I'm all looks ( height wise) with no real game.
I would be happy to be a permanent bench player, just so I would always have a great seat to the game.

I'm almost 6'4", taller than most i play against. i compare my abilities to antawn jamison. good rebounder, good at boxing out, decent post defender, physical gameplay, decent shooter, mediocre at 3 pt. shooting game. i'd say i'm alot better with perimeter defending than he is though. there we go, antawn jamison in a little smaller scale

    scouting report:

"majors in post-up and minors in mid range shooting and defense" NBA comparison: Antawn Jamison

Size Comp: Ime Udoka (not too tall but very broad shoulders)

5'11", 185 lbs. Had some hops years ago (able to hang on the rim) but not anymore. Can handle it, shoot it streaky, have a couple of post moves. I model my game (what's left of it) to Pippen.

Biggest asset I have is I'm a lefty.

40 years old; overweight; 6' - used to have a great first step, and crafty with the ball; could get to the rim against nearly anyone if there wasn't a double, or good collapse. Reliable to 20' - and with a nice pull up. I was a triple threat on offense, if somewhat lackadaisical on defense and rebounding.

    Now?

Broke one knee last year trying to cross over a 12 year old...got it scoped, and broke the other one when he crossed me over. Seriously.

I'm the Kurt Rambis of my rec. league, I can hit the open jumper and play D, but I'm mostly used to foul the out of opposing players.

I'm a mixture of Parker, Shaq and Duncan which means I'm short, overweight and can't jump. But I do have good court vision, passing skills and defend well. And since most of my friends are short too, I usually play as a power forward.

Haha that would make me a cross between Parker and Manu (short and always banged up)...
But, like you, I play with a lot of smaller guys so I pretty much play like Kobe (iso at the wing, back to the basket with a turn around + step-back or a skip-to-my-lou reverse Britney Spears layup (looks good in the beginning but is the epitome of fail at the end).

I'm 6'1", and overweight now. I sprained my ankle really badly dunking in high school, and haven't lived above the rim or played organized ball since. I've developed some great post moves over the years, the Dream shake, the sky hook, a drop step, a turnaround jumper and can get off a shot over or around just about anyone. I can shoot almost every shot as well with my left as I can with my right but I can't handle the ball worth crap because I can't dribble with my left. I'm an incredibly streaky shooter, and when I'm hot I can hit anywhere out to about 21 feet. I'm a tenacious defender who bites on pump fakes going for a big block and will put an elbow into you any time I can get away with it.

Let's get some tournament action. I could use the extra cash when I win.
