PJ said on the pregame radio show tonight that they wanted to get Nazr some good run tonight, don't worry about Rasho not playing much.

OK, Wilks, Kiwi (Marks), and LJ III on IR. Is that how it stays for the playoffs?

    Glover didn't have a turnover?

BTW, Lakers/Minny lost. Suns are struggling vs. Richardson/Davis' GS.
looks like Denver is IN in the WC, folks.

I would Ex, Im gonna hold out judgement after a couple games before I judge him, but, what I saw tonight was pretty good.

They could use a shooter though, sure as aint Brent Barry.

Tim didn't look very good out there after the 1st quarter = no exploseveness.

I hope he didn't get injured again.

Id say it was more, apathy than explosiveness.

That had to have been a tough game to get up for tonight.

Tim also missed some close up shots, one when a Bobcat player clearly pushed him with two hands. No foul called, of course, which may have been a mercy, since SA shot 13-25 FTs. On the other hand, Timmy wasn't the big culprit, getting only two attempts and making one.

BTW, is Alexander, a former Spurs had some tension w/ Pops?

here's a story that puzzled me:

Alexander finds way back to S.A.: Cory Alexander was just about halfway through the 1997-98 season with the Spurs when Popovich, then doubling as general manager, called him into his office to tell him he was waiving him.

"He compared me to Avery (Johnson)," said Alexander, who played eight minutes for the Bobcats Friday night. "Avery had all those struggles to get into the NBA, and Pop told me I'd never had any turmoil; never had to go through any fire to play in the league. He reminded me I came out of college a first-round pick and all that.

"Well, I've definitely seen the other side now."
