The rule is the rule!! You can blame the rule...not the Spurs.
The ref called it good on the shot and since it wasn't the end of the game...they couldn't go back and review it.

Also, I guarantee that since it was the Spurs, this is the only type of national publicity the Spurs will get because it is negative. No one said about the rule when it burned the Spurs, but now that it helped them people will be calling for heads to roll.

bull ...we've gotten the ass end of that rule several times this year...and don't forget the Derek Fisher .4 shot several years ago..because of that, we'll ALWAYS be able to complain about officiating..Now Houston, on the other hand, with that random second getting taken off the clock, forcing us to have a bad Bonner shot to win at the end of the game, which wouldn't drop, THEY have no right to complain...don't hand me that garbage.

Dallas fans and Laker fans are the biggest wits around.
I will trade this win for all those calls and decisions in 2004 against the Lakers and most of the officiating in the Dallas series in 2006.

What are people talking about? Scoreboards do not have red lights for shot clocks ending that I know of.

You get some you lose some, why say it's just the Spurs when every team gets breaks at times? One game doesn't make up for other ones, it will even out in the end hopefully but seriously Spurs fans still have rights to bytch about the ones that have went against them, mostly in bigger games than this one.
Is that the first time you have ever seen this happen? Were you up in arms over it then? Was the team it happened to on your list for teams "who can no longer complain"? I would like to see that list.
