Mavs are much better at home than the road. They lost to us meaning they're not a legit playoff team. A real team would have pounded us just like every other playoff team has pounded us the last month except for the Spurs.

Kidd can be completely non existant for long stretches of time yet no one calls him out on it. So he's good for some clutch steals against scrub teams. If it had been Jouwanna Howard tonight, the board would burst in flames in criticizing him.

Kidd needs to majorly step up his game if the Mavs want to be compei ive in the playoffs. Don't tell me his 26-something % shooting the last couple of important games is going to cut it.

It's just a shooting slump, I hope. He's been a decent shooter all year. Not a lot of attempts, but pretty efficient since he shoots a lot of 3's and makes them at 39-40%.

Kidd had a +/- of +12. Bass/Barea had the worst +/- tonight.

I think a lot of people call out the trade anyway . Kidd is what he is, a decent 3-PT shooter, solid defender against bigger guards, can orchestrate the tempo of the game at times, a ing LEADER. . He' criticized by a lot of Mavs fans for his lack of scoring and defense against quicker guards... he's certainly not "untouchable" when it comes to criticism. only Mav worthy of that status is Dirk since he led us to a championship. You don't criticize an NBA champion.

Unfortunately the playoffs are a slowed down game which makes me think Kidd may not be as effective as he looks in the "run and gun" games like Utah and Phoenix.

But it's not ing secret he can be completely ineffective in a halfcourt system, which is what will happen in the playoffs.

Aside from the shot at the end, I want to say that that may have been Terry's most pathetic game of his career. He was ting the bed until 2 seconds left in the game. A win's a win, but there's no excuse for some of the bull the guys were throwing out there tonight.
