, right now I miss Dwayne Schintzius!![]()
Hey face, you're a lowlife! You make up a post and reference them as my post? What a ing Loser.![]()
and he has the ugliest shot in basketball...and he's annoyingly white...
Bonner's putrid game was no surprise.
Neither was his incredibly overblown game 2 performance. He wasn't hitting any shots in game 2 until Tony Parker got them a double digit lead, then the pressure was off, the games was comfortable and he was able to eek out his modest point total.
No surprise that in game 3 when the heat was on Bonner missed EVERYTHING.
He didn't knock down a basket until the Spurs were down 25. Because that's when the pressure's off.
Spurs should have traded him, when he still had some value, during the all-star break.
Bonner would not play 5 minutes for ing Sacramento...And here he's playing 25 minutes... That's just wrong...
Good points....
I've been screaming about the inconsistency of the supporting cast since mid season now. One night on, another night off. These guys have one good night, and the bandwagon starts rolling. Then they suck the next night and people are wondering why....
You simply cannot afford that in the PO. It's not just Bonner though, its too many 3-10 nights from Mason and Finley as well.
In a nuts the problem with the team is that they are forced to play nearly perfectly on a nightly basis in order to have a chance (they are #1 in the league in TO and #3 in 3-pt FG and still these offensive woes persist). Problem is, we don't have the personnel capable of doing that CONSISTENTLY. Gone are the days where we could win ugly games.
AGREED! Gooden is a way better player
Matt Bonner needs to be cut from the team. He sucks soo bad, I hate how he starts. His once and a while 3 pointers do not make up for his lack of defense and all around play.
Matt Bonner Brings the Spurs down...
I think this thread is appropriate.
Still blowing... Please trade his ass! Do it now!
He did suck on offense tonight. He needs to be tougher.
reading this site, one might come to the conclusion that once Matt Bonner is no longer with the Spurs, they will never be able to lose another game![]()
Paging z0sa...aren't you coming to your lovers rescue?
it's safe to say that the bonner starting experiment is a failure, as is using your PF to drain 3's. unless we can find a younger horry in the making, it's time to use the PF position for someone who can actually score and rebound.
bonner is at best, a bench player in this league.
He's just asked to do too much for this team. I love Bonner, but he's not a starting four in this leauge. He's just not. He's a good guy to have playing spot minutes off the bench where he can effectively come in and mix it up. This team just expects and needs too much for him.
Bonner was brought not brought onto the team for D. He does 1 thing on O. Hit the 3. He didn't do that. In fact he was awful at it. Cut em.
Yeah, I'd excuse him if he hit his threes in crunch time. He doesn't get any better in the playoffs. He is useless. I used to not mind him as a bench guy, but if he can't even do one thing right WHEN IT MATTERS there's no point in having him.
Even Hollins and Barea have done that.
Bonner proves the earth is round and water is wet once again.
22 minutes, 0 points, 1 rebound, clutch turnover, awful performance.
Congratulations Scola haters.
I didn't realize the fans made that trade.
actually I think just about every fan disagreed with it
also, I have never in my life seen a player more hated by Refs than Bonner, poor guy, he breathes and they blow the whistle on him
Bonner ed us up in the last 2 minutes . letting dirk drive into the bucket easily and choking behind the arc for a couple of times , these are what he brought to the team.
The biggest Scola haters were RC and Pop.
And don't fall for the propaganda that Pop really wanted Scola but that big meanie RC wouldn't let him. Pop is still the President of Basketball Operations, still signs off on moves, is still the man in charge, and once trekked through the Slovenian wilderness to personally visit Rasho the free agent. If Pop wanted Scola, he'd be a Spur.
