You don't think a healthy Manu wouldn't have given the Spurs at least the same production as the Mavs bench?
Who knows? Just because he is there doesn't mean he will make a difference. Dirk and Terry had a terrible series. Dirk because the Spurs threw their entire defense at him, and Terry just played like ass and bricked almost everything. Who is to say Manu doesn't stink it up?

Furthermore if Manu is in and playing great, does Parker score 29 points a game and take more shots than anyone in the postseason not named Wade? No. So it's not like you just take the Spurs current production and add on top of that whatever Manu scores.

Spurs were banged up, but the Mavs 2 best players hardly showed up and they still easily won the series in 5. If you guys want to think one guy would have vastly changed that then go ahead.

There's no reason to worry, it's obvious they have you beat by game six.
My prediction is Nuggets in 7 - but a Mavs series victory would not surprise me. Either way, the Mavs will put up a better fight than your team, which will be lucky to avoid the sweep.

The Spurs not having Manu was extremely huge, and if you ask me - The Spurs would have won if they had him healthy.
Quite a few Spurs fans don't share that opinion. The Mavs couldn't worry about who was or wasn't available for San Antonio. They had to beat them and they did.

Precisely. A fully healthy Spurs team would likely not have been as good a test as the upcoming Nuggets team.

Even if Manu stinks it up he still does better than Mason or Finley out there, easily! He could have stunk it up, but in the playoffs with Manu I doubt it if healthy. He makes a difference in this series (Maybe they lose in 7 but still) and him not being out there was huge. No coincidence they are 32-12 with him this year and alot worse without him, he is a big part of their team. Take Howard out of your lineup or Terry for a series, tell me they don't make a difference.

BTW Timmy was fukked up too, he was clearly not 100%, but thats life and it happens to every team sometime or another. Spurs lost, thats all I know.

In other news, Mavs would have beaten the Heat in 2006 if they had not lost the series, 4-2.

You sure hear a lot of Mavs fans say that the Spurs wouldn't have won the '07 championship if Dallas hadn't gotten eliminated in the first round.

Like it even matters since they were out! Handle their business and they are there to play us. The year before went 7 and OT as we all know, how do they know for sure they would have won when it was that close? . I never got that, teams were around evenly matched, Spurs still could have won it all if Dallas was in there in 07. Oh yeah don't forget the whole Dirk got hurt thing in 03 too, like the Spurs were not in control off the first three games when he was out there, one of their stupid blown big leads cost them that game one and they did that from time to time that year, frontline was way too tough.
