I dunno how the #5 pick works into this, but if the Wizards are interested in dumping salary, Stackhouse/Wright for Jamison works. Which means they can move guys like Howard & Dampier in other deals.

Then we can do Howard for Maggette/Randolph. The Warriors do this because really this is Howard for Randolph, and we're doing them a favor by taking the Maggette albatross off their necks.

THEN we trade Terry/s&t Bass for Chris Bosh.

Then next season we load up with -

No matter if the #5 pick would turn out Rubio, it would definitely be a great deal for Mavs if we can get it without losing too much. The Wizards are seeking to dump their salary so i think we will have to swallow one or two of their bad contracts, like Arenas. However, I still believe Arenas will come back strong next season, hopefully he will regain his awesome powers and give us 60+ points in some games sometimes.

The NBA made a big post-Katrina commitment to New Orleans and even with Paul, that team has serious financial problems. Trading him kills professional basketball in New Orleans. I think the league would probably not allow it; the hand of Stern would see to that.

honestly I love Agent Zero. If he could mature and realize he's not a superstar & doesn't need to take every shot, I think he has a skill set very similar to Chauncey Billups.
