I thought the Finals last year were tough in deciding who to root for, Lakers or Celtics (ultimately went with LA, just because the idea of KG winning a ring and whiny Ray Allen winning one too disturbed me).
This season's WCF will be just as tough; Nuggets or LA? Normally I'd go with the Nuggets, but I really cannot stand the Mr. Tough Guy at ude of K-mart. I mean, a guy who's nickname is the same as a cheap, low end retail chain thinking he's all that? The irony...

That is the biggest problem with this generation of basketball. Too many players and coaches talk a lot of but to the wrong people. Players and coaches will to the media or to the fans but not to the person in question. Fans do it too, you have the internet warrior who will talk but if you meet them in the real world, they say nothing.
If you have a problem with Kenyon Martin, talk to Kenyon Martin. If you can't do that, then shut your ing mouth.

Just finished reading this short article. For as much as people have been throwing the "thug" term at K-Mart lately, I think he's handling this situation pretty maturely (for the time being anyway, who knows what happens if the Nuggets wrap up the series tonight...)
There was a story in the last week or so rehashing the whole deal about how Karl and his staff rededicated themselves to defense this year. He held one-on-ones with his veterans over the summer, and he and K-Mart had a heart-to-heart, during which K-Mart owned up to his faults. Sounds like he has grown up a lot over this season.
I just love all the drama at Dallas. It's a lot of fun to see the Mav's soap opera. JR and Sue Ellen are sitting court side.
