Game1 stunk! That's the only reason for the ECF ratings to be higher. If the product sucks you turn it off. How many of us turned that crap off somewhere between the second or third quarter?

Thanks to the Rockets, I'm going to go home after work, prepare a salad with my slap chop, then grab my HD wrap arounds and snuggie and go outside and sit under my Sun Setter adjustable awning for the evening while I play with my Obama coin.

Last night drew a 9.4 share on network TV for a total of 9.4 million viewers. Games 5 of the ECF drew a 6.3 share for a total of 10.075 viewers on TNT, Game 6, also on TNT, drew a 6.2 rating for 9.995 million viewers.

The one constant is the Magic, so it appears that the people have spoken, they prefer Lebron to Kobe.

Too bad LeBron's overrated team wasn't good enough to make it to the Finals, huh?

I'm saying this as a fan of the NBA, not the Hornets. Every time I go to ESPN.com or NBA.com, there are articles about how the Cavaliers are great, how they will go 16-0, how they are having fun acting like idiots on the sidelines, and just about that team period. Your team is massively overrated by its fans and every damn sports analyst, making it all the more annoying.

There was nothing more enjoyable than seeing the Cavs get their kicked in by a decent team.

Now, go on and talk about the Hornets' 58 point loss. , the Hornets losing in a blowout are more enjoyable to watch than the Cleveland LeBrons.

because he changed his number so all the 8 jerseys were obsolete. Lebron has had the same jersey for 6 years.

Plus, when Cavs fans go to buy a jersey they have to make a tough choice between buying Lebron over Mo Williams, Andy, Z and even Wally. The Lakers only have 1 jersey to buy.
Man I just got my Anderson Varajao throwback jersey and that ish is dooope !!! It took forever for me to get one since everywhere I went they were sold out ...

.......yeah right ..... who would want a Varajao jersey?

I saw Varajao walking in downtown Cleveland one time and even he was rockin a Bron jersey !!

Were the Rockets Playoff games in 2007 televised? I don't think NBA TV was invented yet. Did they do it like the 70's where you had to send away for the tapes if you wanted to see video of the games?
    Wow.

The 2000-2002 Lakers drew ratings because that team had personality. This team has Kobe and then a bunch of boring players.

This thread is fail Daniel. Your desperation is sad. And in other news...

ESPN’s exclusive coverage of the 2009 Western Conference Finals averaged a 6.2 rating, 6,057,000 households and 8,712,000 viewers, the network’s highest-rated and most-viewed Conference Finals ever.

I typed "Rockets NBA TV PLAYOFF RATINGS" just now into google, and my computer started laughing and called me an asshole
I'm sure there were plenty of other reasons for your computer to call you an asshole....

Nice thread, by the way. Deal with the pain anyway you can, I guess.

    Jamstone already ended the conversation.

This is comparing game 1 ass kicking to a game 5 elimination game.

The King already holds the crown of the worse rated Finals in NBA history. Digest that. After all the fellating ESPN and Nike have given to the King...the ing worse. By light years.

Tell you the truth, you should start distancing yourself from Lebron. He's not staying in Cleveland. His game may be one dimensional but he's proven to be on the ball in a marketing sense. He won't stay in that hole.
