Time to see if the "Nelson Curse" is still in effect. Wow the abc commentators just mentioned the effect Nelson had on the chemistry of the magic team, took them long enough, it only takes them 3 days of analyzing to figure it out.

Again even if Nelson is playing well, scoring points and making assists, he is still playing in different positions and has a different style/shot making abilities then Alston which affects the rotations, chemistry, and confidence of Hedo, Lewis, and Howard. even in the Cleveland series when it looked like the Magic were going to suck from the 3 point line, during sometime in the 2nd half, the Magic would regain that confidence and make a comeback, didn't matter if they lost or not, they did make a comeback. I didn't see any of that in game 1 vs the Lakers, which all revolves around Nelson.

Adding in Nelson would have been ok, if the Magic were stumbling into the Finals, but they were playing at the top of their game against Cleveland. You just don't make any changes to a formula when it works. Right now the Magic need to find a way to remove an unnecessary condition (Nelson) to balance out the equation.
He had nothing to do with us shooting 30%.

    Stop making excuses.

if you read what I wrote, him playing affected the confidence, chemistry of the team, which is why they shot such a bad percentage. The whole offense was affected by Nelson on the court. Also in the Cleveland series, there wasn't one game where the entire team shot such a low percentage, even Pietrus who was one of top percentage shooters in the Cleveland series looked out of sorts in game 1.

Also is you were watching the game, the Magic were playing well in the 1st quarter and the first couple of minutes of the 2nd quarter before Nelson entered the game, that is when the cold shooting started. Put two and two together, and it is not a hard concept to understand.

well clearly Marc Jackson didn't watch the Magic and their run in the playoffs so far: "the Magic's best chance at beating the Lakers is with Jameer playing big minutes" clearly he didn't see the job Alston did leading the team to the finals

ofcourse I don't mind Jameer playing right now since they are in foul trouble, hency why Red is out there, this doesn't really affect the play of Hedo, Lewis, and Howard

Gortat just made another good defensive play. The more I see of him, the more he would be a great player for the Spurs
