I'm actually 11 weeks in after a reconstructive ACL surgery using my patella tendon. Basically they replace the tendon where you ACL was torn, and after a series of physical therapy, you develop muscle back around the knee areas, and you will wind up being able to play sports and go on with rigorous activities. Prior to the surgery, I have been walking around with a torn ACL for about a year and a half, and not only did i develop arthritis around certain bones around the knee, i couldn't buckle my knee, causing me to hyper-extend it every time I walk in unparalleled grounds. When they said that Dejuan Blair was playing with no ACLs, they really meant that he's playing with two reconstructed ACLs, both in the left and right knee, but he's still able to compete and play basketball on a regular basis.
I assumed that he had reconstructed ACLs, but some of the reports mentioned that the doctors couldn't find his ACLs--which sounded bizarre. Anyways, thanks for the explanation and good luck with your rehab.

According to the MRIs taken in camp by NBA doctors, he has no ACLs. They claim they took MRIs.. and he didn't have ACLs. That's much different than just having them re-constructed, I'd guess.

Yeah they aren't saying it like an expression as in, "he's playin' on no ACLs." They literally said, he didn't have ACLs on the MRI... I don't know how that would be possible

I sure as hope so. But his game looks different. Seems like he's got more offensive moves. But definitely a beast like Wallace. Nothing soft about his game at all. And that is exactly what the Spurs have needed for a loooooooong time...a stud in the paint with Timmy.
Yeah lets just hope the fo doesnt f this one up. Big East baby. They better play him. Bonner to the back of the pine wood.

I did a search for Blair images and about a hundred pictures came up. They were all images of Blair except for one. Right smack in the middle was this image:

I think KG doesn't approve of the Spurs pick.

    Spurs draft Pitt All-America Blair

By Paul J. Weber, Associated Press Writer

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs grabbed one steal to start the week. They think they ended it with another.

"All the teams that didn't pick me, I'm with the Spurs now," Blair said. "I'm going to make them regret it."

Sounds like some teams are about to be anally violated.......

    Ain't gettin' this one.
Looks like he's a fullback trying for a touchdown on the one yard line.
