Well, to be honest, Id like to see the Mavs and Dirk in the mix again this year. Cuban has deep pockets, and there is plenty of talent, but teams are not wasting time. If they can add Gortat and Marion without giving up anything, then you in business.

we'll still need another center to provide post scoring and there aren't any, and plus alot more depth. we need a ton of talent just all around. a legit 2 guard would be nice

No, not until July 15th bc Gortat cant sign his offer sheet until July 8th and the Magic have until July 15th to either match the mavs offer or for go it. he is a restricted FA

Are the Magic really gonna spend MLE money on a backup center who plays 10-15 minutes a night? Mavs are gonna offer him 5 years to make the Magic clench. Also, Bass is being courted by Orlando; Bass for Gortat doesnt work if they S'n'T, but something could be worked out. And both teams would preserve their MLE if they can work out a trade somehow that involves Bass and Gortat.
