    Low Post player???
    Try again.

    BTW, the Glenn is 6'7"

Nah, he is good near the bucket. I know he plays the three but if he gets low enough, his size (240lbs) does some good. Alot of it is outsmarting your defender. My bad, Al.. I knew he was around 6'7-6'9". Take heed, you dont average 20.8 and 6.0 a game over a 10 year career and not know how to ball. Period. Good pickup, cheap man's Karl Malone(minus the D).

Out of ing left field for sure.

Well, It's not a bad move by any stretch. You don't risk anything, and you risk some damn good instant offense.

I don't know how this guy fits in personality wise, but we shall see.

Question: How many games before Robinson appears more acclimated than Nazr on this team?

I wonder why no other teams were interested in him. Wasn't he the first draft pick or something?
1Parker1, you live in PHilly too. Did Glenn suck at defense or was that just me?

He's just like Webber, so easy to read, all Glenn does is take the shots from the same exact spot on the court.

Watch, he's going to get in with his back turned away from the basket, then he will fade and shoot like a 15-20 foot jumper...I don't even think his jumper is very good at this point...he hasn't played in like a year.

Yeah, Glover was on his second 10 day. I'm not sure if they can send him to the IR, or if they'd want to at this point.

Big Dawg is only 6'7", but has a nice postup game. He also has a shot out beyond the arc, shooting .340 career.

Everyone who has ever seen him play knows he sucks at D. This wasn't a defensive pickup.

He has to be. As they've been on their scrub search, they've invited a lot of players in and have put them through a very tough workout that includes a lot of running, shooting, agility drills and more running.

I'm reading this as the Spurs being much more confident in Devin Brown's health. Am I the only one?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. He has a tendency to get fat anyway. And he hasn't played in a long time. I'd imagine the Spurs worked him out a bit before this decision though.

Don't count on any 3 point shooting from him.

He barely shot 3's in Philly, it's just not part of his game at this stage in his career.

BTW, WHEN'S HIS 1st GAME AS A SPUR????

Why would you say that? Glenn Robinson is another 3. Why does this assure you?

I remember he was a great part of the 1999-2000 Bucks team, they were good with him, Cassell, and Ray Allen.

I'm sure, but I wonder if GRob's shooting touch gives him a mulligan compared to a guy like Glover. I mean it's not often you can get a scorer like this for peanuts.

HMM, He wasn't that great on D, you're right, but as someone else mentioned, I think they are looking more so towards his offensive production. All I can remember about him are the local reports at the begining of the season when he was traded. I think they mentioned how he wasn't the same as he used to be and how he'd been getting lazy and didn't appreciate going to the bench and playing a limited role with the 76ers after being a starter. I'm sure Pop can turn his at ude right around.

Because of Pops defense first mentality. I think if Devin was going to be out, he'd rather have Glover because Glover actually plays defense.

Well I don't see this pick up as an indicator of much related to Devin. But Devin is expected back in less than two weeks anyway.

    Oh.

I wonder if he can still shoot the ball like that.

He hasn't been on his feet very long, or training, or practicing.

So by the time he's all fit in with the Spurs, he will have what, 1 game lefT?

I'd be happy with the midrange and something close to contributing in transition.

This is out of left field. The Spurs wouldn't have signed him if he didn't impress them somewhat during his workout. I seriously doubt he will play much but who knows.

He wore 31 in Philly but that's because Wilt wore 13 and that number is retired. It's retired in SA too, so all the Malik lovers get prepared...
