Looks like the Lakers were in cahoots with Artest for a span of time.

That bodes well for the return of Odum. But, this length of time in silence concerning him is a bit alarming. If God forbid Odum went elsewhere I can see the Lakers (especially Jackson) just getting their stubborn on and attempting it with the roster as is + Artest.

Why would Ariza pick a non-championship contender over a team that was a Yao injury away from a championship?

Not true about Ariza. On LA radio today he confirmed he's going to Houston.

I think they'll get something done. There's probably not many teams that can sign Odom or those that can, Odom may decide to pass.

I read in the paper over the weekend that he can sign a one year deal for 7-8 millionand go into free agency next year (2010). I don't know if that's worth the risk for him but I think he'll re-up with LA.

Then your team will be set for the season.

Ariza will never live it down if he s Houston over for the LBJ's after having been committed to them for like three days, that would be the slimy of all slimy moves. Ariza was my favorite Laker last year, now he and his agent just come off like a bunch of greedy slim balls, it's sad.
