This is a Manu vs. S Jax thread, let's get back on topic. I think Manu has a lot left in the tank and far more intangibles than S Jax. Sure I would like Jax on the team, but does not seem feasible financially and Manu is my choice hands down.

That is why I'm thinking let's rule out S Jax. We can't afford him, RJ, and Manu in 2010. My point was to make people understand that. S Jax = no go financially unless we swap him out for Manu after 2009. Now, it is feasible to have both on the roster this year, and maybe that is worth it for a le, saying goodbye to Manu. Difficult question, and not one that everyone seems to understand.

They don't limit the posters to a certain amount because sometimes lurkers get some breaking news before the rest of us, and if they can't post it, we won't have it. But yes..this would definitely qualify as one of those threads that just don't belong. It would definitely call for a DOUBLE facepalm..

Good points about S Jax not being feasible, that was precisely the conclusion I came to. You worry too much though ray about merging threads and the like. Relax a little. I think the people who stress over that cause more harm than good, and are the ones trying to do the bullying. The people that don't mind don't express that sentiment because then they just get attacked. So there was a little more going on here than just me getting mad, or whatever. No one thinks we're superior, bag...we just think it's ignorant to take a guy like Manu, who is a penetrator, exactly what the Spurs need, and trade him away for a guy who jacks up shots, exactly what the Spurs DON'T need. I know everybody gets a hard on for Jax, and he's a great player..but we need someone who can get in the paint..Tony can't do it all by himself. Manu is a clutch player, and is a catalyst for this team...everyone knows that with a healthy Manu, we are a contender..if he's not healthy, we're in trouble. So why would we give that player up? And for someone who's going around telling everyone to stop being rude to people, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I never said one rude thing to you, and yet you feel the need to bash my posting. If you're going to start a thread in a message board, you have to learn to expect that not EVERYONE is going to LOVE your ideas, and because it's a message board, they are going to let you know how they feel. If you're gonna be a whiney little girl about it, don't start them in the first place. You already posted this in another thread, and nobody responded to it. This should give you an idea that nobody wanted to talk about it. In turn, posting it as it's own thread turns you into a. Then you tell everyone to get off their high horse, when in reality, you telling everyone what they need to do is getting on YOUR high horse.
