As I said here previously, you specifically may not use the "that's so gay" phrase as a slight or insult towards sexuality, but that doesn't change the fact that the phrase was created as such an insult. You, specifically and individually, may not be a phobe or a bigot for using the phrase (depending on your intent), but that doesn't remove the phobic connotation from that phrase. The phrase was created for a reason. The word "gay" has been turned into a catchall descriptor for anything bad or undesirable for a reason. It wasn't radom coincidence.
Why not just stick to sexual? I never understood that either.
I wonder when PETA is going to challenge the use of the words " " and "pussy".
