Very tragic indeed. My parents went through the same when I was a young, and I know it took a lot out of them. But I can't even pretend to know the pain as a parent. My condolences.

Incredibly sad news SFIE and easjer and if I knew the words to make the pain go away I would surely say them. This would be sad news for anyone but the fact that you have made more people laugh than just about anyone else on this site somehow makes it even sadder. So I'll just wish you and easjer fast recovery from this and hope the pain goes way quickly, while the memories, however brief they may be, last a lifetime, and I hope that gift of laughter and humor that you so obviously possess serves you well during this painful period of your life. I am truly sorry for you and easjer's loss SFIE.
