It would not be good to discourage Glenn. If he's open, he needs to shoot it.
I don't care if he goes John Starks from the '94 Finals on us tonite. He would be worthless if he was tentative.
Glenn Robinson is rebounding and getting some good minutes, but he's rusty and cannot hit shots. He's got 4 reb. and a couple of assists but only 2 FTs.

The Warriors don't seem very intense about keeping thier 8-W streak alive.
As too ofen, like last night, the Spurs shooting piss poor FG 35%, plus -7 RBs, -4 FTs, but they are very much in this game. What they might miss in the 2nd half is Manu's offense.
Glenn Robinson's shot will come. The guy hasnt played in like a year. He is a little rusty and I think he is pressing.
Anyone else notice Tony spends a little too much time watching after he passes. Especially when he does his drive and kick. Once he kicks he usually stands there out of bounds for a good 3-4 seconds. Love the drive and kick play but he should keep moving.
All in all this was a VERY solid first half effort for a team that played a double OT game last night!

Nazr is doing okay positionally on the boards but he is not catching the ball well, nor going up quickly enough before help comes. He's like a Diplodocus in there.
His help D, particularly on the extra pass and baseline is slow and rather helpless.

Just a question, where has our defense gone? Seriously? Our D has been next to non-exsistent the last 5 games. I havent seen us give up so many open shots since the season D-Rob went down early. All the new faces and scrubs have no idea how to rotate it seems or just rotate way too slow.
Spurs have been great so far. It's all you could have expected. The Warriors are playing at a high level, but the Spurs are right there.
The Spurs probably won't have enough gas left in the tank to pull this one out, but it never hurt anybody to .....

I will cut him all the slack in the world. He played out of sight last night and has been fantastic so far tonight. My comment relates to the whole season not just last nights game. It was something I meant to mention a while back but never got around to.
The guy is playing exceptionally well though, no doubt.
I don't claim to know the full reason texbum, but the D is based on trust in your mates to help out on screens and switches. The backups aren't really doing a very good job on helps and they are also getting sealed when the extra pass is made. Denver killed them with this.
Pretty good job of breaking it down right there. Nazr is a king on the boards but his weak side rotation and help D is terrible right now. Marks isnt any better on defense. Glenn Robinson's on ball D is pretty iffy but his help D has actually been pretty impressive IMO.
Spurs would be winning easily if they were hitting their avg FG% of 45% instead of 35%. How bad is 35%? Worst team in NBA avg's 42%
It looks like they aren't going to play, maybe too tired to play, any shut-down defense, so they better hit their shots in the 2nd half. The defense really sucks vs what the Spurs usually bring.
I really don't expect the Spurs to win, but I would sure love to see it. They can do it if they can get to the line, hit some shots and convert when they get inside.
Beno doesn't match well with their guards but why not see what he can do in the 2nd half. This isn't TP's best half, so why not ask Beno to deliver offensively, at least?
what's your opinion about Pietrus so far guys? stats are good but how is he on the court if you see the game?
