    Maybe cuz Pacman gave Marquez two chances (pacman knocked him down 4 times and Marquez knocked pacman down 0 times) already and doesnt wanna waste time with him when he can figth bigger names.

    LOL! I think Mosley came out of nowhere then issued the challenge to Mayweather.

    I wonder if it will be Mayweather-Pacquiao or Mayweather-Mosley? Whichever comes first would be awesome. Hope both happens though

    Moseley is so phony. He's just trying to get a payday but he can't see Floyd. Pacquiao is the only fight for Floyd. The rest of these underlings should just pray they get their chance at a big payday in the future. Moseley needs to sit his squarehead ass down somewhere. Floyd would embarrass him.

    This is true Manny should take Cotto in Nov. and it should be Manny vs Floyd that would be a great fight? As much as I hate Floyd he does have great defense!

    I don't know why anyone would write off the Mosley fight, lets hope we get them both. There can never be enough Superfights. I think the Mosley fight may be the better fight. They said it on the telecast, Shane is a natural WW, Manny isn't. JMM was humiliated by Floyd for 12 rds, he gave Manny arguably 2 losses, and one for sure draw. People need to consider that Manny may be tailor made for Floyd to hammer. He likes to attack and doesn't have the boxing skills to really threaten him in the middle of the ring, Mayweather might be the best defensive counterpuncher of all time. Anyone that has brought tons of pressure to Floyd in his career has gotten smoked and Manny can't fight him any other way..

    Im sure mosely and PBF will fight...Mosely is getting old...perfect opponent for mayweather.

    BTW..if we compare both marquez fights, we should also compare the DLH and Hatton fights. 2 of the 3 that Pacman completely dominated in a fashion that noone ever thought of.

    I'm not a mayweather fan but the guy is great at counter punching and his defensive skills are off the charts. I want to see him fight PAC first - not a PAC fan but he's whipped some good people so let them square off and see what happens

    Im a pac fan so i really want to see pac-mayweather although i think mayweather is just too big. But as a boxing fan i want to see Mayweather fight real fighters from his weight level...sugershane, cotto, etc.

    HBO Claims 1 Million PPV Buys for Mayweather-Marquez

    HBO Sports announced Friday that its Sept. 19 boxing pay-per-view featuring Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez generated one million buys.

    According to the network, that makes the event the highest performing boxing pay-per-view of the year with $52 million in pay-per-view revenue. Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions promoted the show, which featured a dominant win on points by Mayweather.

    The same night that Mayweather fought Marquez in Las Vegas, UFC 103 took place in Dallas and featured a matchup between Rich Franklin and Vitor Belfort. Mayweather and UFC President Dana White bantered back and forth as the events approached. The UFC does not disclose its pay-per-view buys, but UFC 103 is not expected to match the buys that HBO claims for Mayweather-Marquez.


    This won't make Floyd any easier to negotiate with..
