No, we base it on her words and actions.
I hate them because they stand for things I despise.
Sorry, i just don't see her as stupid, but then I'm from the Northwest. Here, we think people from Texas and other places talk funny, and some people attribute that to stupidity.
I guess you either base it on the way she talks, or the edited quotes and Saturday Night Live skits. In my view, that changes who the stupid phrase should apply to.
No, we base it on her words and actions.
Like Reagan and Bush?![]()
I guess democrats are the only class of people who dislike things they fear. My mistake.
It's not about how she talks, though giving a "shout out" during a nationally televised debate was a nice touch. As CD said below your post, it's about her words and actions.Sorry, i just don't see her as stupid, but then I'm from the Northwest. Here, we think people from Texas and other places talk funny, and some people attribute that to stupidity.
Don't need to.I guess you either base it on the way she talks, or the edited quotes and Saturday Night Live skits.
You're like whottt only you're not as amusing to watch have meltdowns. In my view, that changes who the stupid phrase should apply to.
@ somebody from Oregon talking state smack... especially about the state of Texas.
I still don't get how a person can watch that Couric interview and walk away with the impression that Palin isn't an overcoached disaster. Whatever though... I suppose time will tell if she's gonna make a serious run. If anything, she'll make the Rep. primary interesting by watching if the other candidates handle her with kid gloves or go after her obvious short comings and risk getting bashed for being unfair to wittle ol' Sawah Pawin. I sincerely wish her good luck, though.
Whottt is going to die a happy man if this thread goes past 5 pages.
I came away from that interview completely understainding why Couric is a ratings fail. Whatever Palin's shortcomings are (and there are many), Couric comes off as smug and y.
If Hillary ended up running against Obama and Palin against whomever... it'd be even better than last year. She'd pretty much have the inside scoop on any mistakes he's made and be able to campaign against him with some pretty damning stuff.
wake me when she's in playboy...
pitbull showed in the veep debates how stupid she is, refusing to answer the questions, while running off on some scripted, robotic rant totally disconnected from the topic.
She really doesn't have clue, and it's wonderfully amusing to see the sheeple here think pitbull merits any, further attention as a politician.
PLEASE PLEASE run pitbull in 2012!![]()
Palin's bookers are said to be asking for $100,000 per speech, but an industry expert tells Page Six: "The big lecture buyers in the US are paralyzed with fear about booking
her, basically because they think she is a blithering idiot."

100,000 a pop to hear some regurgitated lies about rouge politics from someone who can only speak when utterly prepped ?
I know what you mean. I can't stand when someone can't ad lib and they have to rely on some crutch, like a teleprompter.
No, Reagan was not an easy target and neither was GHW Bush. W, however, was.
You're delusional. She would be a godsend in 2012.
Better the teleprompter than some of the rambling, incoherent speeches I've heard her give.
If conservatives want to keep hanging their hat on Palin, whatever, but I don't get it. She's a pariah with most independents at this point, and those are the voters they need to pull back.
please God, let her be the Republican candidate in 2012![]()
It will be interesting to see what the future brings for Sarah. It's clear from the posts in this thread, and many other threads, that libs will believe what they want to believe and nothing is going to change their mind. Sarah was mishandled by the McCain people and was overcoached and over managed. I think we'd have seen a far different Sarah if they'd just let her be herself.
But I still believe that McCain probably would've won only Arizona and Texas if he hadn't picked her for his VP - she was the one who breathed life into his dying campaign.
is she a horse?
so...she didn't have the courage to be herself or she needed someone to tell her who she is.
which one?
Here's what the future brings for Sarah:
2009 thru 2011: speaking tours
2011 thru 2012: running for president
2013 thru forever: speaking tours
@ Darrins using every possible chance he gets to snipe at obama.
I think Manny was right about the infatuation thing.
I still think Palin is gonna take a shot at the House / Senate before she jumps to the big show.
I was gonna post this earlier but had to go. Here's why I don't need to "edit" quotes.
COURIC: "Why isn't it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? Allow them to spend more, and put more money into the economy, instead of helping these big financial ins utions that played a role in creating this mess?"
PALIN: "That's why I say I, like every American I'm speaking with, were ill about this position that we have been put in. Where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh, it's got to be about job creation, too. Shoring up our economy, and getting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade -- we have got to see trade as opportunity, not as, uh, compe ive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs created in the trade sector today. We've got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bail out is part of that."
funny but pretty damn accurate.
"Sarah was mishandled by the McCain people and was overcoached and over managed"
"Old Faithful" Crooky, WRONG YET AGAIN!
McLiar's people said pitbull was pretty much out of control, would not follow orders, play their game.
What we saw, is THE REAL PITBULL , tasteless, classless, ignorant, scatter-brained, inarticulate. iow, the IDEAL candidate for the The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy to peddle to the ignorant, illiterate, TV-sedated, Bible-thumping sheeple.
