Barry Sanders without a doubt. You never knew what was going to happen.

He isnt the best player ever but the best WR right now

My unbiased pick would be Barry Sanders. Even his two-yard losses were more exciting than most running backs' ten-yard gains. And he was UNBELIEVABLE in college, just a man among boys. Best college player I've ever seen, probably.
My biased homer pick is this man:
I'll go along with Barry Sanders just because most of you can't remember Gale Sayers.
He was a damn good kicker...no doubt..
I never saw him play in a game, but I've seen lots of highlights...he was amazing.
I was surprised it took two pages to list Neon Deion.
rice>>>>>everyone else, even Irvin admits as much.
For me as a kid, it was Staubach but overall, for me it was Payton.
I agree...IMO,if had stayed healthy, he would be a lot of people's best ever.
there is no question it's Barry Sanders, anyone who disagrees didn't watch him. and he did it against superior talent and defenses than the likes of Sayers, Brown, and Payton.
I prefer to see RBs hang it up before they lose it (LT), but man, I REALLY wish Sanders had played a couple more years, I wish Detroit would have shown a little respect and traded him to a contender when things fell apart between them.
Barry Sanders for me. I saw him on a Monday Night game in person and it was ing UNREAL!!!!! He was amazing.
