That sucker deserved it.
Mbenga wtf
Nugz getting beasted on by sloth from the goonies. On both ends.
Billups, Birdman, Nene vs Powell, Luke, Morrison and the Laker scrubs are still having their way![]()
Man, the Celts/Spurs fans seemed so excited about this game earlier today. What happened?
j/k guys, I wouldn't be watching this either if I wasnt a laker fan. Getting ugly.
George's face after that 5 shot possession was priceless. Nugz will be running suicides tomorrow morning.
I actually laughed when I saw his face. He was like a mix of WTF, Who Farted and Kill me Now. Priceless.
Nice game. Lakers looked like a deep team tonight.
How's that crow taste?![]()
Mbenga really impressed me today. Haven't seen much from the guy, but I was always...underwhelmed. As somebody already mentioned, his timing was spot-on. Wow.
I still think Ron will end up hurting the team chemistry and flow in the long run, though. Everybody else looks ready for the season.
"still"............I'm just checkin' assholes, Poon, but, when was your initial broadside about Ron and his "flow" problem? I'll give ya the chemistry indictment, but, I ain't seen "flow" come out of your pie hole until AFTER Ron didn't "flow" worth a tinker's dam this evening.
Another note....I guy that smiles too much while playing regardless of they're losing or not will never win a ring. ex: Carmello
To be honest, I've probably never mentioned it. Don't like to get into TOO many Laker debates in the "Laker Forum" for fear of being gang-raped...it was simply a passing thought.
I never really liked how he disrupted the "flow" in Houston either. Throwing up random threes at inopportune moments, his awkward, relatively selfish drives through the lane, etc.
I may be eatin' my words soon enough. Who knows?
I played with a guy like that on the USA team. We lost in a tourney and all had our heads down and hes over behind the bench getting his gear, all smiles and whistles. I say... wtf is wrong with you? how can you be so flippen happy? He says, "I got my international career high".
They had to hold me back...
He didn't last long on the team.
Good point.
I just wonder how long Artest will be satisfied as the 4th/5th option. He's saying all the right things, but I reckon it's just a matter of time until you spot his discontent by the sudden, ill-timed shot selection.
I'll give him this much. He doesn't wanna be labeled a coattail-rider. He's gonna be a part of it, whether you want him to be or not.
Again, though. I could be eatin my fair share a' crow sooner rather than later.

Did you forget about the time he was on an Eastern Conf. contender and costed Reggie a last chance at a ring? He was 4th, maybe 3rd option on that team.
Why weren't they? That was a pretty good Pacers team. even nobble knees Jermaine O'neal was playing at a higher level than Gasol is now.
Melo looks like a nightmare matchup for the Lakers and they have the athletes to match up, but the collective team IQ of the Nuggets can't be higher than 70.
Wheelchair basketball?
No more than last year. Likely less.
Don't forget the coach.and they have the athletes to match up, but the collective team IQ of the Nuggets can't be higher than 70.
Not really. They have the team to compete but them being a low iq team is only part of why they won't beat LA. The Nuggets D can't and won't limit the Lakers offense. They are already ed if they can't do that. You aren't going to beat the best offensive team in the league by out gunning them.
I watched it for the first half, then it got boring. And they say the Spurs are boring?
What was the fianl score?
And DJ Benga looks like a nightmare matchup for the Nuggets.![]()
