I heard Dirk carried the mavs pretty much and that's why they won. Are the mavs suppose to be good this year so Dirk doesn't have to do something like that. Guess Mark Cuban really doesn't like Dirk all that much if he doesn't get him good players to help him win

That was a team win, even with Dirk's offensive outbreak. Mavs were totally out of sync and passive for 3/4 of the game (5 FTs in first 3 quarters) until they upped their defensive intensity in the 4th. Jason Kidd was fantastic defending D-Will. Dampier rebounded, Marion had active hands on help defense, Terry chased the ball, Humphries irritated and caused a sense of "hurry" with the Jazz.

Yeah, Dirk was amazing, but it was the whole team was aggressive in the 4th.
