Spurs need to miss the playoffs a few years when Duncan is gone to cull the ranks and make fans a bit more humble. The obsession with a 3-point shooting role player here is ridiculous. It'd make more sense to focus energy on an inconsistent Jefferson or Hill, especially when one makes 5 times more cash than Bonner and is a central piece.

Who is Ryan Anderson? He's the Matt Bullard v.2 guy for the Rockets, right? Let's be happy Bonner is playing well off the bench. If we can ride him through the regular season for decent production while getting the other power forwards acclimated and keeping them free of injury, then I'd say it's a success, especially if Blair can rebound consistently, which then gives a well balanced attack.

Okay, seriously
Bonner deserves credit the past 4-5 games. He's improved his defense some and rebounding heaps and bounds better. He has elevated his game substantially and totally blown apart is one-trick pony label. Hopefully he can continue this trend.
That said, Ryan Anderson may be available at some point in the near future.
He is now getting DNP's.. I kind of knew it was gonna happen once Lewis came back from suspension, both their games are redundant and SVG finally figured out that Bass is too good to let goto waste on the bench.
