I expect a close game. The Lakers aren't playing particularly well right now.
I was expecting this before yesterday. Lakers looked good(Minus Kobe, but he always plays well vs SA)

Not trying to be negative here but there is no reason to think we'll beat the Lakers.

That fourth quarter against Dallas was sobering and we didn't excatly respond against the 3-33 Nets last night.

, unfortunately Kobe is due for a monster game after a series of garbage performances.

I am not so sure Spurs will win this one now. I say it will be very close game and Kobe will drop 40+

    Spurs will HOPEFULLY win

    Right-o.

As much as I hate to type this, most of them, not all of them, wear Kobe gear. It's a pattern I've noticed with the bandwaggoners here in S.A.

You can just tell real McCoy Laker fan from the fakes. You just can.

Will this game really mean anything if the spurs don't add another quality frontline player?

I remember last year all the excitement when the spurs beat the Lakers on a last second shot by Mason. That game didn't mean a thing because the spurs did not address the frontline issues by the time playoff time rolled around.

people downplayed that game because the Lakers had just played Houston the night before.

Portland beat them last night without Oden, Priyzbella, Aldridge, Blake, Batum, Fernandez.

So if our Spurs lose to them....
The Blazers are beating everyone without those guys. You can't really make that comparison.

I would be shocked if Kobe the Rapist doesn't get at least 30+ tomorrow night..he's due for a breakout game and he always kills us anyways..

I really hope Gasol plays though..I don't want to see us losing to the Lakers without Gasol, it would be even more disheartening..

I'm excited to see the spread though, I haven't seen one yet..

this is a lose-lose situation for the spurs. if they win, it means nothing since the lakers don't have gasol. if they lose, it will be even worse since the lakers don't have gasol. i do not look forward to the meltdowns that will take place if the spurs lose.

I will be pulling for the Lakers because with a win especially if Gasol is out, will just be fools gold.
Like this is a surprise. You still wishing Manu gets injured again?

If they win, it means nothing as a statement game. But it's still a win. I want a win, thanks.

Well, I'm hoping for the best and prepared for the worse. We're going to have to figure out how to play them with Gasol, so I hope he plays.
