You don't want a freeze frame........ball was out of bounds.
Doesn't matter, as long as he launched himself from inbounds. That ball is live until it touches something or the ground.

lol it wasn't out of bounds but it was a travel.
They showed one replay angle a couple of minutes later where the course of the ball was altered. My guess is that it barely touched McDyess.

I thought it was a self-pass but then the replay from behind the play showed the ball grazed off of Dice's elbow. Manu really sold his body out and went horizontal on it, though.

If there was ever a play that was made purely FTW, it was that one.
The insane thing is how far out of the play that took Manu, and after one quick pass to George, a swing pass to RJ, two dribbles and a shot attempt, he was literally waiting for the O rebound. I think the recovery was as impressive as the play.

Like someone said here, the basketball gods are most of the time on his side
I think he was fathered by one of the basketball gods. Half-Man, Half-basketball god.
In slow motion that play is even more impressive. How in the do you dive out of bounds, catch the ball horizontal, throw it to your wing player and save the game? It is one of the many Epic Manu Moments we as fans are lucky to enjoy..

How did he even know where to pass it?
He knows the plays, and there would be a man in the corner on that play. I don't even know if he knew it was George, but he knew it was someone. Big ups to Geroge, btw, for staying put, and not reacting to the bad initial pass/miscommunication btw Manu and Dice. If he freelances, that ball goes out on the side.

This, After RJ shot it I noticed Manu right under the basket and had another "WTF" moment. The first one being the actual pass.

    He got there QUICK!

amazing gutsy play. seriously how lucky are we to be blessed with this guy. Hes 0-10 and yet coming down to the final seconds I still want the ball in his hands.....its rare a player can impact a game so much on a night when he cant buy a bucket.

tremendous win, bigger than the lakers IMO

Look how George keeps waiting the ball (hands open) after the very last moment. The Spurs are totally in sync (in terms of passing) with Manu this season.

I won't be surprised if Manu starts to achieve an average of 10 assists per game come playoff time.
So true I just noticed that. I guess everybody is realizing Manu is trying to put on his best steve nash impersonation out there. Everybody wants to be part of the next crazy manu play

Lol at those who wanted to trade Ginobili. He and Hill are my favorite Spurs. What Manu brings to the team can't be replaced and even when he doesn't score he knows how to help bring the team a W.

    Why bet with a pedophile?
Is this what "raising the bar" is about?

What Manu did was impressive, but it would be better if he had made at least one of his shots.
