dr buss isnt confortable paying this much luxury tax. thats why i think he just wants morrison and fisher to expire next sesaon
You think?
It all depends on what direction the wizards chose to go. You have to assume that Arenas will be in Washington for a few years. No one is going to take that contract. So he's the starting point guard. Foye is expendable. Farmar would be good as a backup.
Blatche has already been fined by the club for conduct detrimental to the team, so he's not happy.
Morrison's contract could be used to acquire a very good player or if they just want to shave salary, they can.
Makes sense if you look at the big picture.

You might be right.
That's why I have my doubts that Dr. Buss would add another big contract.
So the Lakers disgust you? Because they would not make that trade.
Kirk Hinrich literally sucks and he's overpaid by about 7 million.
Why do you think they would not????
You do realize the Nets are 3 and 37, right? Bynum is clearly a better player than Lopez. Harris is really bad this year and he's owed 40 million.
Jimmy Buss = future owner. Bynum is his favorite son.
Like i said, the Lakers would never ever trade Bynum for Lopez. They aren't stupid.
Bynum might be better than Lopez, but Harris/Lopez is better then Bynum/Farmar
Brook Lopez is a decent Center all things considered, but his numbers are a bit inflated since he prety much has the green light to shoot at any time.
Lopez has shot over 100 more shots than Bynum while averaging 4 more minutes this year as a #1/#2 option. Bynum averages alot fewer shots as the #4 option but is only 3 points behind.
I've never understood why this dude Hinrich gets so much love. He's being paid $9 million for 10 points and 4 assists. Add on to this that Hinrich has never played a full 82 games.
Meanwhile, Lamar gets trashed for putting up 10 points, 10 rbds, 4 assists on a $7 million salary.
Not this season they aren't. Harris has been TERRIBLE. Again, you do realize the nets are 3-38, right?
I liked Harris last year and he would fit in great with the Lakers if you don't care about 3pt shooting (Phil does). But he isn't worth 8-9 million dollars. Bynum on ther other hand has played the 3rd most minutes on the Lakers this season and they have the #1 defensive rating in the NBA.
Lopez would be a downgrade and Harris isn't good enough to justify trading Andrew for him. Not when he could be got with an expiring + Farmar.
edit: The Nets are shopping Harris because they realized they overpaid by about 20 million.

Haha...It's like we're the Yankees of the NBA...that both disgusts me and intrigues me at the very same moment.
Nothing is impossible.

If David Stern wants Devin Harris in LA, he'll make it happen. Even if he has to pull an all-nighter and re-write the NBA rulebook.
Why you bringing up David Stern? Its Jerry West that made it happen.
Spurs fan can't even get their collusion stories straight.
LMAO @ Donaghy rigging gm 3, Amare suspension and getting for nothing
I wouldn't trade Bynum for Harris and Lopez straight up.
