I have a pair or two, I spend my money where I like. Sneakers just happen to be my thing. Everybody has a hobby.
Someone who runs on a levee? Or on a rock intrusion?

I have many pairs. I really should throw some out.
I'll put a pair of New Balance 845'S against it any day.
Never liked Nike. New Balance man for 20 years now.
....classic

I wear these about 95% of the time...if it is too cold to wear these, i wear the nike tennis shoes i put up earlier, or i dont go out.
Olukai makes the single most comfortable shoe for my foot ever. I would pay pretty much any price for these things. In fact, i am going to order a pair of their closed toe shoes today.

I usually don't buy sneaks, at least not that often. But I can't even remember the last time I bought a pair of Nikes. It's been over a decade for sure.
I have these two pairs that won't be replaced for quite some time:

Well, I used to buy white basketball shoes all the time. But, only for indoor basketball, and I wouldn't use them anywhere else but to play basketball. That would keep them pretty clean and white. Back in college, a lot of my friends were the same way. We'd almost never wear our indoor basketball shoes outside the gym.
And also back when I was younger, buying shoes for just hanging out and going out also meant color coordinating outfits. Yeah, I was one of those guys. So nice predominantly white shoes with different color patterns was also about matching outfits. I bought several Jordan's and Air Max's and Air Force Ones that were predominantly white, but I also made sure to keep them pretty clean. A few of them I even cleaned if they got some dirt on them.
I had cheaper pairs of athletic shoes I didn't mind getting messed up to use if there was a big chance they'd get scuffed up, like when playing outdoor basketball, running, football, moving.
I recently bought a pair of Jordan Team Elite low tops at a Nike factory store for about $70. It was the first pair of Nikes I've bought since about 2003. I did get a pair of Jordans as a gift from my brother a few years back though.
chucks and pumas are terribad for the feet.
i've gone through them. returned them the same day.
the best basketball shoes right now are the shoes on my sig.
Those looks like shoes a nurse would wear with her scrubs.
