Usually just going with the written statement is fine but in Tiger's case it fueled the fires because it lent credibility to the rumors that she busted his face up.
Tiger and his family are set for life. He just needs to deal with his temptations and move on. It is far from ending his lifestyle or his future. The man will still make millions but all the money in the world don't mean a thing if your personal life is in shambles. But it doesn't hurt.
