most people in SouthAmerica have mestizo backgrounds, so they look pretty much the same as europeans

Are you guys kidding? You can find light skinned people IN Mexico. My buddies dad has light brown hair and green eyes but sounds like he just crossed the border.
You really are ignorantRoughly (and i'm not saying I know this for sure), it means anyone with the ancestory of Spanish mixed with native americas. Meanwhile, light hair and eye color are characteristics originated in north and east Europe (white folk homeland). And considering the name Solari sounds very Italian, what makes you think this chick is Latin? That's a white girls face if I've ever seen one

You'll find many blonde haired/blue eyed women in Spain. It's the dominant genes of the indians that brought upon the darker skin/eyes/hair.
