You can boo Manu all you want...

...at the end of the night, look who's crying...
Spurs fans booed the guy that delivered a flagrant 2. Nuggets fans booed the guy who received a flagrant 1. That couldn't really be more different.
You can boo Manu all you want...

Oh, I totally agree -- that's why my post acknowledged the difference.
I'm just saying that calling people out for booing a guy can be duplicitous.
Okay, I misunderstood. People get booed all the time, but I don't remember such an insane mentality from a city where they dislike a guy who so clearly didn't do anything wrong.
I'm with you. Upon hearing that noise last night, the first thought that came to mind was "Manu is completely in the City of Denver's collective head." The fans were almost more focused on booing Manu than they were on cheering for their own team.
It was flagrant 2 that's why Melo was automatically ejected.
I thought they were chanting "moooooooooooooose"
America's team is rebuiding!
You know you're big time when a whole arena of 20K is booing.
SBC better cheer loud for Manu on Wednesday! They should do the soccer Argentinian chant for Manu.
Manu is certainly a Matador. Looks the bull in the eyes and go straight for the kill.
He is El Matador!
Either that, or we should cry like a baby when they anounce Karl....or may we should all bring a baby rattle to the game
Or is that not Spurs fan style???
*sigh* how I wish I could be there and Cheer loudly for Manu and the Spurs!
but I will be cheering from my living room
GO SPURS GO!!!
Are all denver fans babies like George Karl? I guess they are.

It's possible that it was a flagrant 2 (I'm too lazy to check) but the refs can throw you out for a flagrant 1. They can throw you out on a single technical, too.
If I was sitting close to the Denver Bench tonight I would so take a baby bottle and a rattle. but of course I'm not. lol But I will be cheering loud for Manu tonight!
that would be awesome just like the kings fans w/the cowbells but instead baby rattles
Ok seriously now...booing a player in the NBA for good reasons like raping someone while you're on a team trip is one thing...but booing a player just because your team choses to foul him rather than defend and when the smoke cleared you still went home loosers...Thats classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Booing K-Mart when Denver traveled to Jersey because money was more important than loyalty...now thats a reason to boo someone. But booing just because a player can still make freethrows after being beaten up and left with bloody for choosing to drive the lane...That just spells out " N O C L A S S "!!!!
Here is my thought...why don't we as SPURS fans give Denver something to listen to while they sit their cold butts at home watching their team lose. Everytime and I mean EVERYTIME Manu touches the ball tonight we should cheerand screen
as loud as possible. So Denver players can hear what it's like to actually have the RESPECT of your true fans.
And as for K-Mart...Next time you foul out ( since your defence is more of a boxing style than actual game )... GET YOUR "YELLOW SOCK" WEARIN' *** OFF THE COURT SO WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG TO SEE YOUR FANS LEAVE EARLY AND YOUR TEAM LOSE IN THE END ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!

Liga Nacional 1996/97. Iba directo a mi boca.
I translated it:
Bahia Blanca.
Estudiantes, with a skillfull skinny and brave kid that came in scoring 25 points a game at 19 years was the story of the season, his team received the glorious Atenas. One of the centers, strong, ballsy and ex-player in the national team prepared to let this kid, Manu Ginobili know that it would not be so easy to score points this time. "The first time he came in the lane, I dropped him strong to the floor. I thought that was enough. A few minutes later he came at me again, one on one, I had to drop him again... I never thought he would be so brave. A little later he came straight to me with all his might, he jumped so high and if I hadn't moved my head he would have hit it with his knee. It was going straight to my mouth. That's when I realized he was a phenom." the ex-player said.
In the NBA, and especially in Denver, it seems they still don't realize. Ginobili was hit violently, Karl critizized him harshly and the fans booed him the other night each time he had the ball. To Manu, the hits and the hostility encourage him, motivate him and pump him up. The more they hit him the more important he feels, he concentrates more and transforms from victim to criminal. He is merciless, he lights up and charges; he doesn't loose tactical, emotional or psychological control. He finds the best in him. How many athletes would pay to have that mentality?
Manu provokes impotence and then chaos on his opponent. And eventhough he shows pain, inside he seems to enjoy it. Few know that because of this at ude and risky style of play he was taken out in a stretcher and hospitalized a few years ago in Bahia Blanca, after dunking and hitting his head on the floor. His mother knows best and never goes to see him or watches his games in tv. She is always afraid he will get hurt. Its his mom.
Maybe this is why his coach placed him in the bench this series. It could be taken as an agression that will turn Manu into a tornado of energy and winning courage.
Didn't do Anything Wrong?!?! How dare you!!! Manu got their All Star Dumped with Twenty Seconds left!! That's wrong doing to me! I think Manu should go to Jail!!
hahaha How lame eh?
*Being Sarcastic of course*
