Props to the Cavs. Best team in basketball. Boston is done. They are now battling for a 4th/5th seed. Hawks will be 3rd.
LOL at Rondo being the best player on the team now..Perk is pretty crappy these days though..He misses a ton of bunny shots & gets exposed on D a lot since KG cant move as well to help. Boston is a s of what they were 2 years ago..They used to shot down teams on a nightly basis..Now its surprising when a team scores under 100 on them haha

I wouldn't say Perkins gets exposed as much as he can't play as well without a guy who can take care of weakside + pick and roll D the way KG used to. Boston ended its contention when it decided to run the offense through Rondo. They used to have great movement on offense but now it's them all watching Rondo run around.
Yup. I'm getting the same feeling from the Celts that I did with the Pats this season. They're just not getting "up" for big games, which does not bode well for the playoffs.
Hopefully they prove me wrong, but I doubt it. I've downgraded them from "contenders" at the beginning of the year to "happy if they get past the first round".
It's good to manage your expectations as a sports fan.
I don't manage expectations, but the Celtics better start stepping up quickly.
As I predicted, Wallace was a terrible signing and signing Davis after signing Wallace was compounding the mistake (man, I should run the basketball operations for some NBA team), but now it's done and they have to deal with it. Garnett must start playing 37 mpg, swing or swim. With him on court the Cs still outscore every other team in the league. Pierce back as a play-maker instead of allowing Rondo to dominate the ball so much, Daniels as the primary ballhandler when Rondo is out.
Jack Ramsay:
As for the Celtics, they are counting on a resurgence of the Big Three. The Celtics are old, but they are hoping that the addition of veteran Michael Finley can help them make another le run. I don't think that is going to happen.
