Charles Oakley Lie?whats that?
Like four years ago, TheWriter said that the Spurs signed Charles Oakley and that he saw it on the teaser to the news during Oprah. So everyone started celebrating and writing stories about it and the such, but then there was no mention of it on the news.
People thought it was a CIA Pop move, so they still believed it and TheWriter still swore he saw it. Finally, someone got a copy of that Oprah show and then confirmed the teaser didn't say anything about Oakley. He was then banned.
Hmmm.. watching Oprah, posting on an NSync forum ... a pattern is developing.

As much as this is entertaining, and a complete joy to read.... I can't help but feel bad for the guy.
Really, what does it say about us that we just keep pounding on the guy, then demanding an appology? It seems almost counter-productive to tease him about N'Syns, then demand him to "man up" and appologize. It seems like, if you really wanted him to admit to it, you'd go easy on the guy and simply encourage him to admit fault. But instead everyone- including the mods- are ragging on him, giving him a hard time, and yet they expect him to be responsive to their demands?
The story is funny, but the response is sad. Thought I should say something.
