I understand what you're trying to convey, but the term "warrior" is over-used in sports. Dirk is a tremendous scorer and shooter, but he's not out there hounding guys on defense and grabbing every rebound. Also, there are very few big men that can guard Dirk effectively, but the ones that can make his scoring a chore (prime Rasheed, prime Garnett, Haslem and Kenyon Martin). These people arguing for Dirk will bash Garnett, even though he's won a le, while defending a bitter rival?? So, did people have all these nice things to say about Karl Malone?
