You ing moron, the fans kept singing when Manu was still on the floor! You would think that they would realize that he hadn't fouled out yet.
There was no music either, what the are you talking about??
Nice, it only took you three replies to actually understand what I was writing, only to come back and throw a bunch of against the wall.

Any sports fan should know that the "Na na hey hey goodbye" song comes on whenever an important player fouls out. Obviously this is what happened, though whoever cued the music was mistaken.

No "na na hey hey goodbye" is for a team that goes fishing. Celtic fans did it to LA in Game 6 of the finals and Magic fans did it to the Cavs last year.

When someone fouls out, that hit the road jack song plays.

If this is how they do it in Phoenix, then yes it is a mountain out of a molehill. Doesnt change that some Suns fans are pathetic, not you included.

Agreed. Atlanta was singing it as well after beating the Bucks in game 7 the other day.

On the TNT broadcast, they mentioned the fragile psyche of the Suns and their fans about 40 or 50 times.

    I can see why.

Maybe it was a mistake with the song, but I know I saw streamers raining down at the end of the game. Streamers. For a Game One victory. Very Phoenix of them.

Poor Sun fan. You win the series and you finally get to say you beat the Spurs, once. Of course this means that Amare will sign else where for a max contract if he can get to the WCF. Either way, win or lose, you are screwed.

That would be on the floor. In the upper deck they celebrate by shooting all the cowboy wannabes. You know, the ones that go around calling themselves Maverick.

    Explanation from Suns fan:

"They were chanting that because Ginobilli just picked up his 5th foul, and it was announced as his 6th in the arena. Pops pulled him out and the music was cued."

    Believable?
Not true. I was there. They were also still singing that song in the streets afterwards.

Did you see the small group of Spurs fans in the middle of the main entrance after the game? That was us.
We were like spartans holding back these Sun fan morons.
It was like championship for them, for the Spurs, it's tuesday.

Yeah, i don't remember hearing the na na hey goodbye song after foul outs but after eliminating a team.

I think they were praying that it was a 1 game elimination playoff
