First of all, there's no comparison between Michael Jordan and a wannabee like Bryant.

1. Jordan spent his whole career waiting for a real center, but went ahead and won 6 rings anyway.
1(A) Bryant coattailed three rings from Shaquille, then shipped a Top 5 best center of all-time out of town. Next season he led his own team" straight to the lottery.

1. Jordan made his scrub teammates infinitely better.
1(A) Bryant led his scrub teammates to a lottery in 2005, and to first round exits in 2006 and 2007. Not until Gasol arrived in 2008 did he even get past the first round without Shaquille.

So was it Bryant who made his teammates better, or Gasol? For those who have their eyes open, it clearly was Gasol.
