all i know is that, this was manu's team. Parker was injured and Duncan is well Duncan 2010.

After the nowitzki hit, ginobilli lost his fire and he couldn't get his teammates fired up. 20 ppg, yeah.. on pheonix who had a deep rotation of semi decent defenders. That doesn't mean .

Parker torched pheonix once for 5000 ppg and then he dissapeared against the lakers.

How many wins did Tim Duncan win vs phx this year?

How many wins did Tony Parker have vs phx this year?

How many wins did George Hill have vs phx this year?

Manu is our best player right now. Hands down. Not even close. Thank goodness we signed him to an extension.

Ha, me an mookie go back on this board, at times we fought, but there's some respect mutually, if he's right, he's right. Why should me agreeing with somebody bother you?

This proves once again there is no logical argument for ANYONE to make that Manu can make playoff magic for us.

Not to scoff Manu. I like him, he wins games, but the days of him making a difference in the playoffs are over. And everyone in this thread has conceded that point.

FFS Dirk broke his nose by swinging an elbow. That is a ty injury, but an injury nonetheless. Manu was the best 2 guard of the second half of the season along with D-wade and he really played very well to help get the Spurs into the playoffs and also took over the team.

I don't know if he ran out of gas or the nose affected his play, but if you're asking me I'd say it affected his play. It'd be hard to shoot with that on your face as it'd be affecting you field of vision. Manu was shooting very well, even in games one and two of that Dallas series, so seeing his shooting percentage drop after the broken nose I'd say it affected his play and shooting.

Tim, Tony and Manu haven't really had any help the last two seasons so I will say if they get help they will be fresher come playoff time and will perform better. You can't blame these guys for carrying the whole load and then getting hurt because they had no help in the first place. Carrying a team is not easy, just look at T-mac and how banged up he is.

Injury prone, age catching up with him. No longer reliable to be healthy come playoff time.
Yeah cause age is the cause of the broken nose.

No. I like them both and I'm sure lots of fans like them, also. Manu is my favorite Spurs player to watch, but Tony is right up there for me.
