Now she's been sentenced to jail for at least nine years. More facts are on the record, although Sword herself admitted in court that she still doesn't know how it happened. It's not at all clear that she "tracked" or "stalked" her son on the Internet. The UPI story notes in passing that the prosecutor (not Sword's lawyer) said "it was the son who got in touch with her."

Last September, the site You Can't Make This Up did stick up for Sword, noting that a social worker representing her son's adoptive family “asked his permission to find her, because he was getting unmanageable at home….” In this version, he’s a “gangbanger” who may have coerced his birth mother into having sex. She supposedly complied “partly due to guilt, partly out of fear of losing contact with her son forever and last but not least, partly because she was asked by his adoptive parents…[to help].”

She pleaded guilty to the three charges, so now it can be reported accurately that she used social netowrking sites to track down her son.

She pleaded guilty, apparently, to spare the young man from testifying against her (or for her, we'll never know).

One way or the other, I dont care and am done with this thread. I just thought it was weird when I read the Oakland Press about a year ago that it had mentioned a couple items that are not being mentioned anymore. Convenient, I guess.

Really, I dont care, she slept with her biological son who was a minor. Dont break the law if you dont want to go to jail.

If you were at her place, what would you do? lets, Assume that the kid badly wanted it and wouldn't accept you as mom if you didn't agree. I know that it's only assumptions, but it's the more plausible scenario as to the one where they say the mom is just a sick who wanted to k her son.

Why should it be assumed there was some kind of discussed ultimatum? Who says they talked about it at all? Maybe they were just on the couch one day and one thing led to another...
